Inklusif adalah sebuah fiilosofi pendidikan dan sosial. Inklusif adalah suatu sistem ideologi yang dilandasi wawasan kebersamaan. Artinya setiap warga sekolah yaitu masyarakat, kepala sekolah, guru, pengurus yayasan, petugas administrasi sekolah, para siswa, dan orang tua. Dalam inklusi, semua orang adalah bagian yang berharga dalam kebersamaan apapun perbedaan mereka. Pendidikan ini berarti bahwa semua anak, terlepas dari kemampuan maupun ketidakmampuan mereka, latar belakang sosial-ekonomi, suku, latar belakang budaya atau bahasa, agama atau jenis kelamin, menyatu dalam komunitas sekolah yang sama, merupakan pendekatan yang memperhatikan bagaimana mentransformasikan sistem pendidikan sehingga mampu merespon keanekaragaman tersebut, serta melihatnya lebih sebagai suatu tantangan dan pengayaan dalam lingkungan belajar dari pada suatu problem. Implementasi pendidikan inklusif pada saat pengajaran di kelas harus mengupayakan sikap tidak diskriminatif, pengakuan dari semua pihak kepada seluruh peserta belajar, pemberian fasilitas dan lingkungan yang aman terhadap setiap individu anak. Anak- anak dapat bersama- sama belajar di kelas yang sama tanpa harus di adakannya persiapan di kelas khusus terlebih dahulu. Pendidikan inklusif dirancang sebagai salah satu strategi untuk membantu anak berkebutuhan khusus dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikannya. Demi mencapai tujuan pendidikan inklusif yaitu menyetarakan pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus, dibutuhkan hal-hal materi dan non materi seperti fasilitas dan dukungan dari seluruh pihak guna membantu teman-teman berkebutuhan khusus dalam menggapai mimpinya. Pemberian pendidikan inklusi tentunya memiliki dampak yang baik bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus terutama dalam hal kepercayaan dirinya.
