Pendidikan Inklusi di Sekolah Dasar

Pendidikan inklusi adalah system penyelenggaraan Pendidikan yang memberikan kesempatan kepada semua peserta didik yang memiliki kelainan dan memiliki potensi kecerdasan dan atau bakat istimewa untuk mengikuti Pendidikan atau pembelajaran dalam satu lingkungan Pendidikan secara bersama-sama dengan peserta didik pada umumnya.
Tercantum dalam Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 yang menyebutkan bahwa setiap anak berhak mendapatkan Pendidikan secara adil dan merata. Dalam Undang-Undang Dasar pasal 32 ayat (1) yang menegaskan, “setiap warga berhak mendapatkan Pendidikan”. Dan juga pada Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 Tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional pasal 5 ayat (1) yang menegaskan, “setiap warga negara mempunyai hak yang sama untuk memperoleh Pendidikan yang bermutu”.
Oleh karena itu, setiap orang yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, baik itu pengajar maupun peserta didik diharapkan untuk tidak membeda-bedakan latar belakang keadaan orang lain. Secara khusus, anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) ini mempunyai tempat belajar tersendiri yang sering disebut sebagai SLB (Sekolah Luar Biasa). Tetapi jika anak berkebutuhan khusus ini di tempatkan di Sekolah Luar Biasa tersebut, maka mereka juga tidak akan berkembang.
Maka diharapkan mereka yang berkebutuhan khusus ini dapat dipersatukan dengan mereka-mereka para peserta didik pada umumnya. Salah satu kegunaannya adalah agar mereka juga dapat memperoleh Pendidikan yang sama dengan mereka yang non ABK. Peran guru pengajar atau guru pembimbing juga sangat diperlukan untuk kondisi ini. Karena kelebihan yang dimiliki oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus ini, maka mereka diperbolehkan mempunyai guru pembimbing masing-masing untuk mendampingi mereka selama berkegiatan di sekolah.
Setiap anak yang berkebutuhan khusus tentunya berhak untuk mendapatkan Pendidikan yang bermutu dan sesuai dengan kemampuan mereka. Dengan ini juga sudah tentu diperlukan guru yang mampu memahami serta mengetahui tentang keadaan peserta didik yang memiliki kelebihan khusus ini. Hambatan yang paling jelas dalam menyatukan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dengan siswa pada umumnya di sekolah adalah kurangnya pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh pengajar tentang bagaimana harus mengajar dengan satu kurikulum yang sama. Karena sudah pasti bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), mereka tidak secepat atau setanggap teman kelasnya yang lain. Oleh sebab itu, dapat diperkirakan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas tidak akan berjalan dengan baik.
Anak-anak yang tergolong sebagai anak berkebutuhan khusus diantaranya adalah; anak lambat belajar, anak dengan gangguan fisik dan motoric, anak yang mengalami kesulitan belajar, anak dengan gangguan autis, anak dengan gangguan intelektual, anak dengan gangguan emosi dan perilaku. Adapun ciri-cirinya sebagai berikut; kontak mata tidak focus pada apa yang sedang disampaikan oleh guru, lebih suka menyendiri dibandingkan bergaul dengan teman sebaya, emosional, dan juga kesulitan berkomunikasi.
Memang tidak mudah untuk menyatukan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dengan anak non ABK di satu lingkungan Pendidikan yang sama. Tetapi jika mereka -anak berkebutuhan khusus- hanya dibiarkan di Sekolah Luar Biasa, maka mereka tidak akan merasakan mendapat Pendidikan yang sama rata dengan anak non ABK. Sedangkan dalam Undang-Undang Negara dan Undang-Undang Pemerintah jelas sudah ditegaskan bahwa setiap anak berhak mendapatkan Pendidikan yang sama, yaitu Pendidikan yang bermutu. Adanya Pendidikan Inklusi sebagai penyelanggara kegiatan yang menyertakan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dengan anak non ABK ini telah membuahkan hasil yang baik. Karena ternyata banyak dampak positif atau manfaat yang terlihat bagi kehidupan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) maupun non ABK.
