Dengan secangkir kopi yang sudah kau meneguknya tadi
Imaji pun berdiri, mengantri untuk membuahkan puisi

Tentang waktu yang terus melaju
Bahwa ia tak bisa menunggu
Tentang cinta yang pergi dan belum terganti dengan hati yang baru
Dan tentang ilmu yang belum kau peluk, lalu kau simpan rapi
Tentang surga yang lebih indah dari harta dan lebih indah dari fana

Ah, sudah kenakankah kau jaket bijak?
Agar kau tangguh dalam menghadapi musuh,
Menghadapi iblis yang kesepian di nar
