“Dia menyukaimu. Sudah tidak percaya.” Dia hanya menundukkan kepalanya, kemarahan dan rasa malu bersarang di dalam dirinya. Gelak tawa pecah di kalangan anak muda. Kakinya dengan cepat melangkah menuju bagian dalam aula.

“Sama seperti menggodaku. Kak Faizal nanti dengerin, stop me. Hish, ini Huzaifah kan? Tunggu dia, aku akan memakainya nanti. Yang itu..”

“Apa yang Nurul ocehkan?” Pidatonya berhenti ketika dia dimarahi oleh suara yang sangat akrab. Rasa rindu melanda hati.

“Rin…” Senyum terukir di wajah kedua gadis itu. Airin dengan cepat memeluk erat tubuh kecil Nurul. Kerinduan yang selama ini disampaikan melalui media sosial dan panggilan telepon akhirnya terjawab.

“Kamu makin cantik Rin.” Puji Nurul tulus. Wajah Airin dihantui. Gadis itu memang cantik. Dengan kulit kuning semampai, Airin selalu terlihat cantik di mata Nurul, apalagi dengan hijab yang selalu menghiasi dan melindungi mahkota wanita.

“Lihat aku seperti aku belum pernah melihatmu selama seribu tahun. Ada apa denganmu, kau semakin manis dan cantik. Bagaimana ujian hari itu?” Menggoda Airin. Nurul tersenyum dan dengan lembut meninju bahu Airin. Airin tertawa. Gadis manis dan mungil berkulit hitam yang dulunya pemalu kini semakin berani tampil di depan umum. Nurul baginya lebih dewasa dari dirinya.

“Alhamdulillah, Allah mudahkan. Doakan aku, Rin. Eh, kamu sendirian?” tanya Nurul sambil matanya berkilat melihat sekeliling.

“Syah dan Risha mungkin sedikit terlambat. Saya masuk dulu. Lanjutkan saja apa yang Anda katakan sebelumnya, Nurul. Damai sejahtera besertamu.”

“Ya. Itu kamu, kamu belum berubah. Menyenangkan hanya untuk menggoda. Waalaikumsalam Oh! Sebelum saya lupa, acaranya mungkin selesai jam 12 siang, Rin.” Anggukan diberikan Airin kepada Nurul.

Acara yang dimulai dari pukul 08.00 hingga 16.00 ini berjalan lancar. Nurul duduk di sofa tamu undangan sambil menyaksikan beberapa relawan acara bincang-bincang remaja yang telah mengemasi tempat duduk untuk para hadirin.

“Lelah ya?” Nurul mengangkat kepalanya mencari pemilik suara itu.

“Hm, tidak juga. Apakah kamu kelelahan?” Senyum terukir di wajah pemuda itu.

“Kalau ada Nurul, mana mungkin ada yang lebih capek dari Nurul.” Ujar pemuda berkacamata itu sambil juga memperhatikan para relawan yang sedang bekerja. Nurul tersenyum mendengar pujian satu-satunya laki-laki yang mampu membuat jantungnya berdegup kencang saat bertatapan mata dan bertukar senyum.

“Faizal! Ini sebentar! Tolong biarkan kami mengangkat kotak-kotak ini!”

“Ya, sebentar!” Faizal tersenyum kepada Nurul dan berkata, “Kak, bantu mereka dulu.” Sampai ketemu lagi.”

Nurul mengangguk mengerti. Langkah Faizal diamati Nurul dari sudut matanya. Keluhan kecil dilepaskan. Ia bertemu dengan Faizal saat keduanya menjadi fasilitator program untuk anak Islami di sebuah sekolah dasar, kini pertemuan tersebut sudah hampir dua tahun. Pemuda itu, tanpa disadari, telah membawa banyak perubahan dalam catatan harian hidupnya sebagai seorang wanita.

Dulu, Nurul tidak pernah tahu arti dan makna cinta. Apa sebenarnya perasaan tertarik dan cinta itu dan bagaimana rasanya merindukan seseorang. Setelah hampir dua tahun mengenal Faizal, Nurul mulai menyadari bahwa nama pemuda itu telah terukir di hatinya selama pertemuan mereka. Ia tahu pemuda itu juga memendam perasaan yang sama, namun pemuda itu menghormati prinsip Nurul. Saat ini, yang penting bagi Nurul bukanlah cinta, tetapi hatinya hanya memiliki ruang untuk berjuang menegakkan agama Tuhan, orang tuanya, dan cita-citanya yang luhur. Selama lebih dari setahun mereka merahasiakan perasaan mereka.

Matanya menatap Faizal dan lainnya yang sibuk mengumpulkan dan mengangkat kotak-kotak untuk didaur ulang. Sahabat Faizal, Huzaifah yang mengetahui perbuatan Nurul tersenyum dan mencubit bahu Faizal sambil menuding Nurul.

Nurul tertunduk malu dan mengangkat kakinya dari tempat itu. Faizal tersenyum melihat reaksi Nurul. Jauh di lubuk hati Faizal, ia berharap suatu saat nanti gadis yang akan menjadi pendampingnya di singgasana adalah gadis itu. Mungkin terlalu dini baginya untuk bermimpi tapi jauh di lubuk hatinya, jika ditanya apakah Nurul adalah gadis pilihannya, jawabannya adalah iya.

“Teman, kamu harus belajar keras dulu. Bukan orang acak yang Anda simpan perasaan itu. Siswa terbaik. Aku harus segera menemui orang tuaku, kalau tidak aku akan membiarkanmu pergi nanti. Di mana Anda bisa menemukan kandidat seperti Nurul.” Huzaifah mengerjapkan matanya. Faizal hanya tersenyum mendengar ejekan itu, meski diam-diam mengakui bahwa bukan tidak mungkin Nurul akan membelot suatu saat nanti. Gadis sebaik Nurul baginya berhak mencarikan pemuda yang lebih cocok untuknya.

“Tunggu dulu Huzaifah. Nurul baru berusia 19 tahun, saya khawatir dia akan terbawa perasaan itu. Saya baru berusia 21 tahun, saya masih harus banyak belajar dalam hidup ini. Bagaimanapun, saya hanya bisa berdoa untuk pertandingan ini. Jika Allah yang memutuskan, Alhamdulillah. Tapi, jika tidak, dia pantas mendapatkan pemuda yang lebih baik, bukan?” Huzaifah memeluk bahu Faizal dan menepuk pundak temannya sebagai tanda dukungan.

“Nurul, kemarilah sebentar.”

“Iya Kak Diah. Kenapa Kak Diah nelpon Nurul?” Fadhiah memberi isyarat agar Nurul duduk menghadapnya. Tangan Nurul yang berada di pangkuannya digenggam erat oleh Fadhiah. Matanya menatap wajah lembut Nurul.

‘Ya Tuhan, gadis ini masih terlalu muda untuk hanyut di lautan cinta. Anda membimbingnya, Tuhan.’ Hati kecil Fadhiah berbisik.

“Ini Nurul. Saya ingin menanyakan sesuatu kepada Nurul, bolehkah? Hm, apa Nurul ada perasaan sama laki-laki di lingkaran kita? Jujurlah padaku.” Nurul terdiam. Dia tahu, Fadhiah pasti memperhatikan perubahan sikapku setiap kali berhadapan dengan Faizal. Nurul mengangguk pelan. Fadhiah tersenyum lalu bertanya lagi. “Siapa? Faizal?” Sekali lagi, Nurul mengangguk setuju.

“Suka atau minat Nurul? Atau pernahkah Nurul berkhayal menjadikannya Imam Nurul?”

“Iya Kak Diah.” Fadhiah memeluk gadis yang dianggapnya adik sendiri.

“Nurul takut Kak Diah. Apakah perasaan ini salah? Bagaimana dengan jalan dakwah yang diperjuangkan Nurul ini? Nanti diganggu Kak Diah?” Air mata Nurul mulai membasahi pundak Fadhiah. Perempuan itulah yang telah membawanya kembali ke jalan Tuhan, yang telah mengenalkannya pada fakta bahwa dakwah adalah amanah seluruh umat Islam. Amanah yang Allah tetapkan untuk semua orang beruntung pilihan Allah yang lahir ke dunia disambut dengan kata-kata indah azan dan iqamat.

Fadhiah membuka lengannya dan memegang erat bahu Nurul. Senyum yang dia berikan pada Nurul. “Tidak apa-apa sayang. Perasaan Nurul itu wajar. Semua manusia akan merasakan perasaan suka, minat atau cinta. Hanya saja, mungkin sekarang bukan waktu yang tepat bagi Nurul untuk mengatakan kata-kata itu kepadanya.”

Fadhiah berdiri dari duduknya dan berjalan menuju jendela. Dia mengalihkan pandangannya ke lautan orang di luar aula yang penuh kesibukan dan variasi. Terkadang, hatinya ingin menyerah dalam berdakwah namun ketika mengingat kembali perjuangan gigih Rasulullah suatu ketika, Fadhiah tidak mau menyerah.

“Nurul mau dengar cerita? Antara cinta dan dakwah.” Sambil mengusap air mata yang mengalir di pipinya, Nurul mengangguk pelan. Fadhiah menghela napas panjang, menemukan kekuatan untuk membuka kembali lipatan masa lalu.

Sudah lama sejak dia membiarkan file memori tersimpan dalam pikirannya. Namun, hari ini Fadhiah bertekad untuk membukanya kembali, sebagai kekuatan gadis hitam manis itu untuk terus tegar di jalan dakwah.

“Hijrah itu tidak mudah. Terutama cara Nurul berdakwah. Gadis ini, dia tahu cara berdakwah saat pertama kali masuk universitas. Dari sanalah ia mengenal dan menghayati Islam. Hingga suatu hari, saat ada perayaan Maulidur Rasul di universitas, ia menawarkan diri sebagai relawan. Dan, tanpa diduga, Tuhan menakdirkannya untuk bertemu seseorang.” Fadhiah tersenyum menatap Nurul. Tanpa sepengetahuannya, ada beberapa gadis lain yang juga duduk bersama Nurul. Mungkin tertarik dengan awal cerita yang diceritakannya.

“Bisakah kita mendengarkannya, Kak Diah? Menarik untuk dibagikan kali ini. Seperti biasa.” Ujar Syahmina, gadis yang dikenal Fadhiah melalui Nurul. Fadhiah mengangguk dan tersenyum.

“Iya Syah. Apa yang salah dengan itu? Duduklah bersama Nurul. Haruskah saya melanjutkan? Awalnya, gadis itu hanya tertarik pada pemuda itu. Tanpa sepengetahuannya, pemuda itu sebenarnya menyukainya. Hingga pada suatu saat, gadis tersebut menerima pesan singkat dari nomor yang tidak diketahui pemiliknya.”

“Itu pasti nomor pria yang dia suka, kan?” Tanya salah satu gadis yang juga duduk di sana. Fadhiah mengangguk, ya.

“Dalam dua minggu terakhir, pesan singkat lainnya datang. Pemuda itu memperkenalkan dirinya kepada gadis itu sambil meminta maaf karena telah mengganggu waktu gadis itu.” Fadhiah melangkah ke arah anak-anak kecil yang sudah dianggap seperti keluarganya sendiri dan duduk bersama mereka.

“Gadis itu terkejut dengan pesan singkat yang dia terima. Pikirannya terbagi. Kalau dibalas, takut disuruh kasih harapan. Tidak menjawab, takut kehilangan kesempatan untuk berteman. Pada akhirnya, dia memilih opsi kedua. Sejak hari itu, mereka selalu bertukar pesan singkat. Jika mereka berselisih di bahu jalan, mereka bertukar senyum dan sapa. Saat ada program yang membutuhkan relawan, keduanya adalah yang pertama mengulurkan tangan untuk membantu. Kemudian, suatu hari ketika usrah berlangsung di tepi danau di sebelah kafetaria, gadis itu menceritakan masalahnya kepada anggota usrahnya. Gadis itu berkata, dia sulit bangun untuk berdoa di malam hari. Ini tidak seperti sebelumnya.”

“Naqibah pun bertanya pada gadis itu. Apakah Anda pikir Anda sedang melakukan sesuatu yang Tuhan tidak senangi saat ini? Ketika dia mendengar pertanyaan saudari itu, gadis itu diam. Dia mengarahkan pandangannya ke arah danau.” Fadhiah menghela napas. Sudut matanya dipenuhi dengan mutiara bening. Fadhiah berusaha menyembunyikan rasa bersalah yang bersarang di lubuk hatinya.

“Gadis itu membuat permintaan maaf yang panjang. Ketika semua teman usrahnya telah pergi, gadis itu duduk di sana dengan naqibahnya. Kemudian, dia dengan rela membuka kisah nyata. Naqibah usrah tersenyum mendengar cerita gadis itu. Apa kau menyukai pemuda itu? Gadis itu mengangguk sebagai tanda jawaban atas pertanyaan naqibahnya.”

“Kak Diah, apa dia tidak marah dengan gadis itu setelah naqibah?” Syahmina mengangkat tangannya dan bertanya pada Fadhiah. Gelengan kepala Fadhiah memberi jawaban pada Syahmina.

“Tidak, dia tidak marah. Hanya saja, dia memberi nasihat kepada gadis itu. Naqibah si gadis berkata bahwa jatuh cinta itu tidak salah tapi jangan melakukan hal yang tidak diridhoi Allah. Padahal tidak ada hubungan, mereka telah tertipu oleh hasutan setan. Kamu bisa jatuh ke dalam perzinahan.”

Beberapa menunduk, mungkin merasakan cerita

“Kalian semua ingin tahu apa yang dilakukan gadis itu setelah itu? Ia menangis di atas sajadah, memohon ampunan Tuhan. Gadis itu kemudian membeli nomor telepon baru dan dia tidak memberi tahu pemuda itu sama sekali. Selama liburan semester, gadis itu kembali ke kampung halamannya dan dua hari kemudian, gadis itu dikejutkan dengan kedatangan rombongan.” Anak-anak kecil di depan Fadhiah tersenyum, seolah sudah tahu akhir ceritanya.

“Ternyata, pemuda itu mengirim rombongan untuk melamar. Dan di hari yang sama, gadis itu menerima surat dari pemuda yang disampaikan melalui adik laki-lakinya. Surat itu isinya singkat. Pemuda itu meminta maaf kepada gadis itu karena telah membuat mereka jauh dari Tuhan. Tak lama setelah itu, mereka menikah. Fadhiah tersenyum.

“Begitulah ceritanya berakhir. Dan sekarang, mereka hidup bahagia.” Syahmina menyeka air mata yang mengalir di pipinya dan menepuk tangannya. Tingkah spontan Syahmina mengundang gelak tawa di antara mereka.

“Kamu satu-satunya, Syah.” Fadhiah menggelengkan kepalanya sambil tersenyum.

“Baik. Sesi mendongeng hari ini dengan Kak Fadhiah sudah selesai.” Ucap Fadhiah lalu berdiri diikuti yang lainnya. Mereka berjabat tangan satu sama lain dan meminta untuk pergi.

Hanya Nurul dan Fadhiah yang masih berada di pojok aula.

“Kakak, terima kasih.” Air mata Nurul membasahi pundaknya. Fadhiah membalas pelukan Nurul.

“Sabar Nurul. Percaya pada janji Tuhan. Dia pasti akan memberikan yang terbaik untuk kita. Belum tiba waktunya bagi Nurul untuk mencintai dan menyayangi seseorang yang tidak pasti.”

“Insya Allah saudaraku. Nurul akan mencoba. Nurul bolak-balik dulu, kan? Assalammualaikum kak Diah.” Nurul mengulurkan tangannya untuk menjabat tangan Fadhiah.

“Waalaikumsalam. Hati-hati.”

Fadhiah melihat langkah kaki Nurul meninggalkannya. Bahunya dipeluk dari belakang. Fdhiah berbalik menghadap suaminya. Senyum diberikan. Fadhiah bersyukur dipertemukan dengan pria sebaik Syukur. Meski dipaksa menikah saat usianya baru 22 tahun saat itu, ia menerima takdir Tuhan dengan hati terbuka. Kini sudah hampir 7 tahun pernikahan mereka, rumah tangga semakin bahagia. Jauh di lubuk hatinya, Fadhiah bertekad bahwa cerita tentang dirinya yang diceritakan tadi akan menjadi pelajaran bagi Nurul dan teman-temannya yang lain.

“Sudah berapa lama kakak menunggu?” tanya Syukur sambil membalas senyum istrinya.

“Nggak lah. Ayolah, kasihan ibu dan ayah di rumah, harus berurusan dengan ketidaknyamanan Humaira.” Terima kasih telah tertawa. Dia tahu betul perilaku manja anak kedua mereka yang baru menginjak usia 3 tahun. Ibu dan mertuanya pasti lelah merawat si kecil.

Faizal menatap layar smartphone-nya lama. Sudah hampir tiga bulan hari-harinya tidak diisi dengan pesan singkat dari Nurul. Dulu, mereka selalu menanggapi perintah tapi sekarang tidak. Banyak pesan yang dikirimkan Faizal kepada Nurul melalui media sosial dan juga melalui teman-teman dekat Nurul seperti Airin, Syahmina dan Risha. Tidak ada tanggapan dari Nurul.

Apakah dia melakukan sesuatu yang salah? Jika ada, mengapa Nurul tidak mengatakan apa-apa? Huzaifah geleng-geleng kepala melihat kondisi Faizal. Sejak Nurul menjauhkan diri dari Faizal, sahabatnya banyak berubah. ‘Hai Za. Sampai kapan kamu mau seperti ini?’ kata Huzaifah, bertanya pada dirinya sendiri.

“Kamu terlihat seperti aku tidak punya harapan hidup, Zal. Anda tidak bisa terus seperti ini. Nurul juga memiliki kehidupannya sendiri. Kamu harus mengerti dia.”

“Aku….Aku tidak tahu Huz. Aku takut dengan perasaanku sendiri. Apakah aku benar-benar mencintainya? Lagi pula, jika saya mengganggunya, setidaknya beri tahu saya. Ini bukan, menghilang tanpa berita.” Faizl mengernyit. Gelas-gelas itu dilepas dan diletakkan di atas meja di antara dirinya dan Huzaifah.

“Saya ingin memberitahu Anda sesuatu. Saya bertemu Nurul tadi saat menemani adik saya membeli buku di MPH.” Faizal menatap wajah Huzaifah, meminta kepastian.

“Saya tidak berbohong. Saya baru saja bertemu dengannya. Aku juga penasaran dengannya, tanyakan kemana dia menghilang, kenapa dia menjauhimu. Wajahnya juga sedih saat aku menanyakan hal itu. Di tengah percakapan kami sambil melihat-lihat buku di rak, dia berhenti. Dia mengambil sebuah buku dan pergi ke konter. Ketika saya ingin keluar, dia memberi saya buku itu, meminta saya untuk membantunya mengirimkannya kepada Anda. Nah, sebelum sampai sini, saya juga sempat membaca sinopsis di bagian belakang buku. Ini benar-benar hatiku. Buku itu bercerita tentang perselingkuhan. Zina.” Huzaifah menyerahkan sebuah kantong plastik bertuliskan MPH kepada Faizal. Faizal ragu menerima tawaran itu.

“Kurasa aku mengerti apa yang ingin dia katakan padamu, Zal. Saya ingin menanyakan sesuatu. Selama Anda berhubungan dengan Nurul, sudah berapa kali Anda melakukan Tahajud? Aku tahu, kamu selalu mengingatkan dia dhuha dan sebagainya, tapi coba ingat-ingat. Apakah Anda berdoa dengan tulus kepada Yang Mahakuasa atau hanya untuk memuaskan Nurul?” Faizal tertunduk mendengarkan nasehat Huzaifah.

“Boleh saya lanjutkan?” tanya Huzaifah. Ia melihat ada mutiara bening di mata Faizal.

“Melanjutkan. Saya ingin mendengar.”

Huzaifah menarik napas dalam-dalam sebelum melanjutkan berbicara. “Aku juga salah selama ini, Zal. Saya tidak menegur Anda meskipun saya tahu pada saat itu Anda mungkin bersalah. Aku melihatmu tersenyum dan tersenyum sendiri pada jam 3, 4 pagi membalas pesan dan pesan singkat dari Nurul hingga kamu meninggalkan tahajjud dan ibadah yang selalu kamu lakukan, aku hanya diam. Hingga hari ini, ketika Nurul menunjukkan buku itu di dekat saya, saya baru sadar. Perzinahan ini bukan hanya untuk hal-hal yang selalu kita dengar. Tapi, perselingkuhan juga ada. Kamu memikirkan Nurul 24 jam sehari sampai lupa ibadah, lupa Tuhan. Itu tidak baik, Za.”

Akhirnya air mata Faizal pun jatuh. Kali ini, penyesalan memenuhi hatinya. Rasa pertobatan dan dosa terhadap Tuhan menyapa pemuda itu. Ia mengaku sudah lama meninggalkan Tahajud. Bagaimanapun, shalatnya tidak khusyuk karena pikirannya sibuk memikirkan Nurul. Apakah Nurul sudah shalat? Sudahkah anda membaca Al-Quran Nurul?

“Faizal, saya hanya punya satu hal untuk dibagikan. Kencan itu seperti maraton. Jika Anda start di A dan Nurul start di B, Anda akan berhenti di garis finis yang sama. Artinya, jika Tuhan sudah menulis jodohmu adalah Nurul, suatu saat kamu akan bersamanya. Tapi jika tidak, berarti ada yang lebih baik untuk Nurul dan juga untukmu. Percaya pada Tuhan, kembali kepada-Nya, berdoa dan memohon kepada-Nya karena kita manusia hanya mampu merencanakan, Tuhan yang memutuskan. Jika Anda benar-benar mencintainya, biarkan dia mengejar ambisinya terlebih dahulu. Kami masih muda. Semoga sukses untuk orang tuanya, lakukan dengan cara yang benar, Zal.” Huzaifah menepuk pundak Faizal.

Faizal mengangguk lalu perlahan bangkit dari duduknya dan memeluk sahabatnya itu.

“Terima kasih Huz. Terima kasih telah menyadarkan saya bahwa saya telah lari jauh dari jalan Tuhan.” Huzaifah tersenyum mendengar ucapan terima kasih dari Faizal.

“Tidak perlu berterima kasih. Ini adalah tugas saya sebagai teman. Ingatkan yang benar dan tegurlah yang salah. Lagipula, aku tidak ingin berterima kasih. Aduh! Itu menyakitkan Za. Itu kamu.” Huzaifah mengusap bahunya yang ditinju Faizal.

“Itu dia. Kenakan aku lagi.” Faizal mentertawakan Huzaifah yang mengeluh kesakitan, dalam hati Faizal bersyukur dikaruniai sahabat seperti Huzaifah. Baginya, Huzaifah bukan sekedar teman untuk disenangi dan disedihkan, melainkan sahabat yang sering bersamanya di jalan dakwah dan ia berharap ukhuwah yang dibangunnya langgeng hingga ke surga Allah.

“Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.” Faizal mengusapkan kedua tangannya ke wajah, mengiyakan doa yang dibacakan. Malam ini sebagai saksi, air matanya jatuh dan membasahi sajadah. Rasa berdosa tergantikan dengan rasa syukur karena Tuhan masih memberi kita kesempatan untuk kembali ke jalan-Nya.

‘Ya Tuhan, aku benar-benar tidak kuat menghadapi semua ini. Tapi demi agama, demi-Mu Ya Allah, aku akan berusaha keras.’ ucap Faizal dalam hati kecilnya. Jika dulu dia takut Nurul akan menjadi milik orang lain suatu saat, kini rasa takut itu hilang. Bagi Faizal, takdir Allah adalah yang terbaik. Suka atau tidak suka, sebenarnya Allah telah memberikan yang terbaik untuk semua hamba-Nya.

Faizal bertekad, keputusan telah diambil. Mungkin sulit pada awalnya, tetapi dia senang jika itu yang terbaik. Dia meraih ponsel di tempat tidur dan dengan cepat memutar nomor telepon ayahnya.

“Damai sejahtera besertamu. Ayah, ini Achik.”

Nurul terbangun dari tidurnya. Jam yang tergantung di dinding menunjukkan pukul 4:23 pagi. Dia segera bangkit dari tempat tidur dan pergi ke lemari air.

Air matanya tak berhenti mengalir. Sudah hampir tiga bulan ia membiarkan dirinya menangis di depan Tuhan, memohon Tuhan menguatkan hatinya, membuat dirinya setegar mungkin menghindari Faizal. Nurul tahu itu akan sulit baginya untuk melakukannya tetapi dia yakin suatu hari nanti, Tuhan akan mempertemukannya dengan seseorang yang telah ditulis untuknya di Luh Mahfuz.
